The recruitment and retention of qualified and experienced staff remains a top challenge for transport managers. The road transport sector in particular is experiencing shortages and difficulties in finding drivers and managers. FTA’s Skills Development Campaign is identifying training needs and funding sources and developing courses to help members fill vacancies and develop existing staff.
