Under construction - new FTA website re-design
Over the next few months you will start to notice some changes to the FTA website. The re-vamped site is all part of FTA's major redevelopment of its web-based resources. Some of the new features will include:
- Improved Navigation - ie fewer clicks to find things. The current website has several thousand pages and even we have trouble finding things. Our new site is adopting what we hope will be a more intuitive way of navigating around the site - eg, finding most things within two clicks
- Managing Traffic - each month we get over 1.2 million hits on our site. We want to make sure you have continuous and instant access and are able to download files fast each time
- Database - an improved database platform for the redeveloped website, will make it easier to update. This will assist us to provide the most up to date information for our members
- Improved search capabilities
- New 'look and feel' - of course.
